It’s hard to determine which foods to eat and which ones to avoid.  I have many guidelines when picking the right ones.  I will share more in the future, but below is one of my biggest rules for eating.

The Harder It Is To Clean, The More You Should Stay Away From It

Have you ever washed dishes after a meal and noticed some foods are harder to clean?  One day you cook chicken and the pan washes off easily.  The next day you make a hamburger and the grease has hardened to the point that you have to scrap it off the pan.  Don’t you realize your body is having the same problem when trying to digest it?  People usually throw out grease in a separate container because they know it will clog their pipes.  Then why do people put this same grease in their body?  Once it’s in your system, it’s even harder to remove.  It gets in your arteries, the small capillaries, and the pores of your skin.

Does this mean you should never eat a hamburger or steak?  Of course not, but just realize that these foods are treats and should be eaten sparingly.  I’m sure many of you already do this, but it’s very easy to replace ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.  I’ve done this for so long that regular ground beef tastes greasy.

Bacon Is Not Healthy

I know many of you do not want to hear this, but bacon is one of the worst culprits.  I know a lot of you think bacon is healthy because it doesn’t have many calories, but calorie count does not determine how healthy it is.  Not only does your body work overtime to get this thick fat through your system, but who knows if it ever leaves.  Should you no longer eat bacon?  No, just eat it in limited amounts.

Fried Foods Are The Worst Foods To Eat

The other food that I highly recommend eliminating from your diet are foods deep fried in oil.  We usually never cook fries at homes, but if you did, it would be a nightmare to clean.  Since we can’t see them being made, does this mean they’re ok to eat?  Of course not!  Would you drink a shot glass of grease from a deep fryer?  Of course not!  Then why would you eat foods that are like sponges soaked in this grease?  What makes these foods even more dangerous are that they’re usually cooked in unnatural oil or contain artificial ingredients like acrylamide and hydrogenated oils.  These foods include French fries, potato chips, doughnuts and other battered foods like chicken nuggets or mozzarella sticks.  Again, should you never eat these foods?  Eating them sparingly is not going to do permanent damage.  But eating them regularly will add up and increase the aging process.  If you don’t believe me, others are suggesting the same thing.

Now, I know I’m not a genius for telling you French fries are unhealthy.  What I’m saying is that if you want to look younger than your age, live longer, there are certain foods that you can no longer eat regularly.  People have learned to stop smoking because they found out the health risks.  The same can be said about fried foods.
